About Me
Hello! My name is Brandon and I'm a passionate young game programmer/designer with a focus on creating immersive and engaging gameplay experiences mixed with compelling narratives. My journey in game development started at a young age where I found a love for storytelling, and has since evolved into a comprehensive skill set spanning programming, creative writing, and design.
Currently I am pursuing my degree in Computer Science with a minor in English-Creative Writing at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. I've worked on multiple projects ranging from solo prototypes to team-based productions. I specialize in Unity with C# development and Godot with Gdscript development, with experience in gameplay systems, story design, and user experience.
When I'm not coding or writing up documents or stories, you can find me analyzing best sellers, participating in game jams, or exploring new and upcoming indie titles. I'm always eager to learn new technologies and collaborate with other creative minds to bring innovative game concepts to life.
Whether you're a recruiter/hiring manager or just someone checking out my portfolio, feel free to look around! Below there are some of my best works in the featured projects, click on them to see a detailed page on what I did for that project. At the end of this page is my contact details if you'd like to reach me. And skip around as much as you want with the navigation at the top!
This website was templated by Claude AI, but has since been molded over the course of a year to fit my personal goals for the site. I consider this website a project I've worked on as well (even if it doesn't have a project page yet!).
And one of the coolest features along the majority of my portfolio is the toggle in the bottom left of the screen. This toggle switches between what I call "Designer mode" and "Programmer Mode". It changes the contents of some boxes to be more relevant to my design experience or my programming experience. And when it's used, the text will be colored to match the rest of the theme, so feel free to toggle it anytime and see the other version.
For example: You're currently in "Designer Mode". Enjoy this ghostly blue! You're currently in "Programmer Mode". See this nice lime green?
